How a Corporate Restructure Became the Best Think That Every Happened to Me

Every time I step on stage (or into a strategy session), I’m reminded: the most powerful brands aren’t just built—they’re lived. Whether you’re leading a nonprofit, launching a career, or managing a lean team, how you show up—and stay visible—matters. That’s why I created Marketing With AI: Smart Strategies for Small Teams to help purpose-driven leaders use AI intentionally to scale their marketing without sacrificing their voice.

Small teams wear big hats. You’re the social media manager, copywriter, graphic designer, strategist—and sometimes, janitor.

I get it. That’s why AI isn’t a threat for small teams—it’s a blessing.

But here’s the truth: AI won’t make your marketing great. It will make your strategy faster, your workload lighter, and your voice louder—if you use it with intention.

I have experienced success with global brands, as well as, nonprofits and small business brands. When working with a smaller skill brand, I use AI tools like ChatGPT, Canva’s Magic Write, and Grammarly to stretch time, spark creativity, and stay consistent. Here’s how you can too:

💡 1. Use AI to Brainstorm, Not Replace Your Voice

AI can help you get unstuck. Need blog ideas? Social captions? Fundraising language? Let AI give you a starting point—but always refine it in your voice. Your brand still needs to sound like you.

🗂 2. Build Templates That Save Time

Use tools like ChatGPT to help draft email sequences, presentation outlines, or social media calendars. Then save them in Google Docs or Notion for repeat use. AI can help you build systems, not just one-off content.

🎨 3. Create More Consistently With Less Burnout

Use Canva’s Magic tools or Adobe Firefly for design ideas, image resizing, or caption writing. When time is tight, AI gives you the capacity to stay visible even when your team is small (or just you!).

👀 4. Watch Out for Generic Content

I cannot stress this enough—the best AI users are also great editors. Don’t just copy-paste outputs. Use AI as a partner, not a publisher. Add your own data, stories, and insights to make the content yours.

🚀 Pro Tip: Use AI Marketing Strategies for Small Teams to Repurpose

Turn one blog post into:

  • 5 LinkedIn posts

  • 3 Instagram captions

  • 1 email to your list

  • A short video script

Let AI help you rewrite and reformat with ease.

Final Word

AI can’t replace your strategy—but it can amplify your brilliance.

Don’t fear the tech. Learn it. Use it. Shape it to reflect your voice and values.
